Tried & True
Pioneering filter technology since 1959 Zabel Environmental
Technology® is the most recognized and trusted name
in onsite wastewater filtration. The ZABEL® Filter line
has evolved from a single disc dam filter into a complete
line of over 80 Effluent Filters to fit every wastewater
application.
With over one million filters installed
throughout the US and abroad, ZABEL is the source for all
your wastewater filtering needs.

Patented Inside Out Flow
ZABEL’S patented flow reduces the
trapping of solids in the filter by allowing them to slough
off and fall back into the tank for further digestion.
Slots rather than mesh screens provide
less surface area for solids to attach and promote the sloughing
action. Independent research has shown the ABEL A1800™
Series Filters reduce TSS by 40% in residential applications.

A1800™ Series
Residential
The ZABEL® A1800™ Series
filter is the choice for single-family residential
applications. The cartridge type filter easily slides
into any 4” sanitary tee baffle to provide optimal
drainfield protection. By reducing TSS and forcing
routine homeowner maintenance of the filter and septic
tank the A1800 Series filter is the best insurance
available to provide long drainfield life.

A100/300/600™
- 12” Series
Commercial
and Industrial
The original ZABEL® Disc Dam
Filter was patented in 1959. The 12” series
filters have been filtering wastewater longer than
any filter in the wastewater industry. In 2000 Zabel
made the best even better by introducing a complete
redesign of the original with more great features
and finer levels of filtration.

A100-300™ Series
The A100-300 is the commercial filter
chosen by more engineers and installed in more localities
than any other filter on the market. The reliable
performance and flow rates from 3000-6000 gpd allow
this filter to be utilized in almost every application.
The new ZABEL® Versa-Case™ is available
with built-in reducer and outlet hub that accepts
either 4” or 6” SCH 40 pipe. The A100-300
Series is also popular in many areas for residential
use due to its high quality effluent and large capacity.
Independent research has shown the A100-300 decreases
TSS by 50-90% and CBOD5 by 20-40%

Features
All Zabel® A100/300/600™ Series filters
feature a Stainless Steel central
support rod for strength and durability.

The Patented
disc dam filter plates of the A100/300/600 ZABEL
Filters provide the optimal filtering environment.
Filtration occurs by physical removal through
the spacing between the plates and biologically
through the growth of a beneficial biomat growth
on the plates themselves.
Independent research has shown
the ZABEL disc dam filter will reduce TSS by
50-90% and CBOD5 by 20-40%.
All Zabel filters are available
with Versa-Cases ™ .
This innovative case allows solvent welding
to either 4” or 6” SCH 40 pipe.
* Note:
Always use primer before Gluing PVC Pipe.

Filtered Pump Vaults
Interlocking Filtered Pump Vaults
The interlocking vault is designed
to attach directly to Zabel’s risers and basins.
The 36” tall vault easily slides into the 26”
x 38” basin and with a simple twist lock motion
is securely fastened. Additional risers may then be
installed on top of the vault to bring access to grade.
As with all the Zabel® filtered vaults, the Interlocking
are available with either two or four filter plates.
Self-Cleaning Filtered Pump Vaults
A great idea just got better! Zabel®
has taken filtered vaults to a new level with our
patented Self-Cleaning version. All Zabel® Vaults
are available with the self-cleaner attachment. The
self-cleaner contains specially designed spray nozzles
that operate from the inside of the vault. Activating
the pump pulls effluent through the self-cleaner and
into the pump. As the pump is sending effluent to
the disposal field a small amount is bled off the
main line and directed through the spray nozzles onto
the self-cleaner which prevents solids from building
up.
What does all this mean? Every time
the pump turns on the filtered vault is cleaned. What
does this mean to you? Little or no vault maintenance.
